Conversely, players who end up winning more or fewer tricks than they predicted score no points. This scoring process simplifies tracking for the scorekeeper, who merely needs to note successful bids with a "1" and cross out unsuccessful ones.

The scoring system employed is often referred to as Blackout or Blob due to the visual representation on the score sheet. Unsuccessful bids are marked out, creating black blobs that represent missed attempts.
